After logging into the control panel select "Domain Names" then click on the domain you want to add forwarding to. From the domain menu click on the ?Web Forwards? button.
From the web forwards page you can add two new forwards at a time, any forwards you have set-up are already displayed under the "Current Forwards" header.
To add a new forward start by selecting the "Redirect Type" here we will select the "Standard Redirect" type. Click here for an explanation of the other redirect types. In the from field there are two input boxes, the first lets you enter a sub domain to forward from, in most cases this will be set to www or to forward from all sub domains you could enter the wildcard ( * ) character. In the second field you enter the directory you want to forward from, in most cases this should be set as a wildcard ( * ) to forward from all directories. The "To" field should be set to the address you want the forward to point to. This is the full URL including the http:// section.
Both the "Standard Redirect" and "Path Redirect" have a 301 option in the drop down box. This option is what tells the search engines that this is a permanent redirect and should be selected in most cases.
As a basic example if you wanted to redirect one domain to another you would select the ?Standard Redirect (301)? option from the "Redirect Type" field the place an wild card asterisk ( * ) in both the "From" fields. Then place the domain you want to forward to in the "To" field.
